Scuba Diving is No 1 recreational activity in Goa, Favorite of all the adventure enthusiasts. The term “SCUBA stands for self-contained underwater breathing apparatus“. It is an underwater sport which gives an enthralling experience to the divers.

Scuba diving in Goa has started long back. Because of its popularity, there has been no looking back. For the 20-25 minute underwater session, a participant needs to go through basic training provided by an expert diver that includes underwater hand signals, usage of an oxygen tank and other necessary safety instruction. The location of scuba diving is at Grande island which is a popular tourist spot that gets maximum tourist in a year. The Scuba Diving trip starts from the jetty near coco beach. On the way, you will get to see dolphins and to watch them enjoying in their natural habitat is a delight to eyes.

Diving at Grand Island

Your trip starts at 8:00 am. Pick up is provided from North Goa locations of Calangute, Baga, Candolim, Arpora, Sinquerim, and Nerul. The trip most probably ends by 3:00 pm but timing can change due to unavoidable circumstances. The starting point is Coco Beach jetty. Dive location is Grande Island.

Though with proper training and experienced divers along, there is nothing to worry. But still, it is highly recommended that people with heart disease, water phobia, and pregnant women are strictly not allowed to Dive.

With Pool training

Proper training under expert supervision is provided. The training starts with the basic which is theoretical. It is further taken to the next level, where the practice is done in a swimming pool. Finally, when you are trained, you will be taken to the Arabian Sea which welcomes an efficient diver with open arms.
Children only above 12 years of age are allowed to participate.

Trip Recommendation:

This trip is recommended for people who wish to see the Grande Island. Non-swimmers can also try as with expert guidance, you can overcome the fear of water and can spend 20 minutes of your life underwater. Proper equipment will be provided which includes snorkel, fins, oxygen cylinder. You will be accompanied by the certified diver.

  • 10:00 am - 10:20 am : Learn the basic of Scuba Diving with 20 mins training provided by Certified Diver.
  • 10:20am - 11:00am : Dive 12 meters deep to see amazing underwater world for 20 min. with the trainer.
  • 11:00 am - 11:30 am : Relish on some snacks / juices / mineral water after your scuba dive session.
  • 11:30 am - 1:00 pm : Back to jetty with Dolphin sighting on the way.
  • 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm : Enjoy you lunch with veg / non veg option at restaurant.
  • 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm : Day ends with drop at your hotel (North Goa)

  • Non Swimmer can also enjoy scuba diving.
  • Children above 12 years are only allowed to dive.
  • Extra person who wants to join the trip without scuba diving will be charged 1599 per person.
  • People with heart problems, water phobia, pregnant women are strictly not allowed to participate.
  • A gap of min 18 hrs is required for beginners & 12 hrs for experts, before boarding the flight back home.

Do you provide proper training before actual diving?

Yes, training is provided under swimming pool at dive centre to understand the basics like hand signals and usage of oxygen tank under water.

How safe is Scuba Diving?

Scuba Diving activity is very safe provided you follow all the safety instructions given by the instructor.

Where is location of Scuba Diving?

Scuba Diving will take place near Grande Island in Goa.

Do you take pictures or under water videos in this activity?

For Scuba diving we do take underwater pictures and 3-4 min video clip and is complimentary.

What will I get to see underwater?

You will able to see corals, tropical fish and a ship wrek underwater.

Who are not allowed to participate?

Pregnant ladies, people with heart ailments, handicapped, waterphopic are strictly not allowed to participate.

What if I am wearing glasses or soft disposable contact lenses?

Underwater things appear approx 33% closer or larger due to refraction. We generally recommend soft disposable contact lenses as they work brilliantly underwater.
